Major highway projects across Iran reach 85% progress

TEHRAN - Kheirollah Khademi, the managing director of Iran's Construction and Development of Transportation Infrastructures Company (CDTIC), has announced the 85-percent progress of several highway projects underway across the country.

According to Khademi, having a total length of 461 kilometers, the mentioned projects are being pursued in five major corridors including north, south, east, west and center, IRIB reported.

He expressed hope that all the mentioned projects will go operational in the next Iranian calendar year (begins on March 21, 2023).
